1, 2, 3, Zeitgeist! You owe me a Coke. I've been thinking of doing a similar project so there would be a mod_perl2 native journaling package. Keep at it (especially the public documentation). Plugin based softs are great b/c they so encourage contribution; and documenting the progress helps the next cats to do the same in their own idiom and language.
