Personally, I always install everything whenever I install cygwin. But, that's just me. :-)

dragonchild, I have a full install of everything myself which I update daily. People should be aware that this takes a bit of bandwidth to download and fair amount of free disk space to extract it all. My current Cygwin directory is over 3GB. Which means it cost you less than US$3, plus bandwidth (which is usually paid for on a monthly basis, regardless of transferred amount). Personally, unless I'm administrating a database server, I usually have no idea how big my hard-drive is. I have no clue how big the drive in the laptop I'm typing this on is - only that I haven't had space issues and never expect any. ------ We are the carpenters and bricklayers of the Information Age.
