On your own machine maybe but it's a different story when you ssh into your virtually hosted webspace and have to install all this with your own bandwidth.

but it's a different story when you ssh into your virtually hosted sure, that's why there was this little thingie ';-)' i had this problem myself recently when i installed PAR on my 100MB webspace. disc quota was full =( in the end i compiled at home and just copied blib. fortunately both systems have v5.8.x	[reply]
