I just saw a post on Newest Nodes that I think should be considered. So, I went to the bottom of SoPW and under the rubric of "Unapproved" I see the post in question. I have two check boxes, "Front page" and "Ok." I thought I might see a button that said "Consider." I just read everything I could find on the topic, but I'm missing something in the actual process. Can someone straighten me out on this. Thanks.

I must be a dolt, I have never seen this, and I've been around lurking around here for a while. Where does one see this on the node's page? All I see is "Comment on blahblahblah", "Download Code," etc. Or is it only there before it is approved? Oops, no, I just checked an unapproved one. Does it have anything with my name not appearing in the list under "Other Users" (yes, I'm logged in because I see my theme and name at the top). Sorry, but I don't want to miss out on any of the fun around here.

Update: Now, my name *is* on the list. Weird.

I have the "nodes to consider" nodelet in my Personal Nodelet space, which appears on the right hand side of my page. When I am in a node that is up for consideration, the nodelet appears there. Perhaps you need to go to your User Settings from your home node and add "nodes to consider" to your personal nodelet.

I have never seen a consider option on the Seekers of Perl Wisdom page. To consider a root node, go to the root node's page and look at the Approval nodelet on the right side of your screen. If you have sufficient status on perlmonks (friar and above?) consider node will appear along with approve and frontpage. If the node has already been considered, you will have the opportunity to vote on it.
