Did someone forget to update the DNS entry for www.perl.com? It seems to have disappeared ...

    It's back up now. I find it odd that three DNS servers (including a sonic.net server!) would have been offline at exactly the same time. Kinda disturbing, actually ...

    Perhaps in their mad rush to add the latest python, php, or java story to perl.com, they accidentally brought things down.

      And, what's wrong with python articles on an O'Reilly megasite? What's wrong with perl.com linking to onlamp.com? Not everyone is a PurePerl developer ...

        What's wrong with perl.com linking to onlamp.com?

        I have a problem with the "official Perl homepage" displaying articles about other languages near the top of the page.

        Have you ever seen articles about Perl on php.net and python.org? I don't think so.
