That would work, if perl.org actually mirrored all the articles that perl.com has.

Perhaps in their mad rush to add the latest python, php, or java story to perl.com, they accidentally brought things down.

And, what's wrong with python articles on an O'Reilly megasite? What's wrong with perl.com linking to onlamp.com? Not everyone is a PurePerl developer ...

I have a problem with the "official Perl homepage" displaying articles about other languages near the top of the page. Have you ever seen articles about Perl on php.net and python.org?
