Perhaps I missed some missive on this, but I've now waited a few days for something annoying to get fixed on its own. Obviously those who can fix it haven't noticed it (or it's more complicated than I know).

All the nodes seem to claim they have '0 replies', when in fact they have several. I doubt it's a browser issue, but Firefox 1.0 PR on Win32. Update 2004-Oct-24:

It turns out this can be fixed with a user setting. Thanks to tye for offering the solution

Go to user settings and uncheck "Show count of all replies". I kept getting pushed to apply that patch. It appears that whoever finally did didn't bother to test it? (:

      thanks.

      that was driving me nuts.

Isn't that supposed to call numreplieschooser instead of checkvar:repliesdisplay?

I, too, see the "0 replies" on threads for the main locations (Monastery Gates, Seekers of Perl Wisdom, Perl Monks Discussion). I figured it was a user configuration error on my part, and if someone knows how I can change/fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've checked on both FF 1.0PR and IE6

    radiantmatrix,
You don't indicate where specifically in the Monastery you are seeing the problem, but I am sometimes a Win32 FireFox 1.0 PR. I am looking at Seekers of Perl Wisdom and don't see the problem you are talking about - it is correct.

    Cheers - L~R

Update: I have checked several categories, to include this one - they are all working properly.
