I don't really mind, it is like take a coffee break.
The poll results from non-Perl ones are more meaningful, as technical is much less about popularity.

For years, I have been asking for better polls. We can't even suggest polls unless we update the polls quest and then message the gods.
Recently polls have gotten better. If you want a good laugh, go through some of the past polls. I think your suggestion is a good one, but the subject of polls has been discussed endlessly here. I would super search through this section to get a good feel of what people's opinions are about the polls and what the "upper management" thinks they should be about.

Perhaps if you had submitted even a *single* poll, I might take your whining about wanting better polls to heart. Just to make sure I didn't miss one, I did a super search for any nodes by you that mention "poll". (Lots of nodes asking for ways to submit poll suggestions but not a single poll suggestion actually submitted)
The procedure I use for receiving poll suggestions from users is in the site documentation (no other gods have offered to support any alternate submission methods that I've seen and no users have ponied up the effort to support any alternate submission methods that I've seen).
And suggesting a poll title is not writing a poll. It is just another example of asking someone else to do the work for you.
I'd say "put up or shut up" but I don't have any expectation that you'll do either. *yawn*

Sorry for my ignorance of PM doc on posting poll suggestion, tye.
I have posted my suggestion there.

Breathe tye, breathe before you post.
I have not submitted a poll because, as you already know, I think your suggestion procedure is bad IMHO. I have made suggestions for improving the procedure before but I believe you rejected them as stupid, so why should I implement something?
Look, I would be more than happy to work on this, as long as my time and effort are not wasted. (That's a big "if" considering your machine-gun responses to my posts.) Besides, I am tired of bringing it up all the time.
Here's one thing that (I think) could be added in less than 30 seconds: Below the results of each poll, there could be a link to how to create a poll. People who view poll results would likely be interested in suggesting polls and placing a link there would make sense...
(And I am serious about helping out... breathe, breathe!)
