"man perl" is a great place to start (UN*X). typical websites include perl.org, perl.com and perlmonks.org. A simple search for "perl tutorial" in any search engine is sure to get you off to a good start.
AgentM Systems nor Nasca Enterprises nor Bone::Easy nor Macperl is responsible for the comments made by AgentM. Remember, you can build any logical system with NOR.
You should probably not refer people to the perl.com web site. Tom hasn't updated it in years and the only material it has on Perl are links to language.perl.com and www.perl.com.

It's tempting to be lazy and always say "foo.com" when what you really mean is "www.foo.com", but that's not always correct, and in this case it doesn't really work.

I started with the stuff on WDVL, but I found it left too many "gaps" in my Perl knowledge, since it focuses on CGI.

Your best bet is to get some of them good O'Reilly books. Like "Learning Perl" and go from there.

There really isn't a good tutorial on the net for learning Perl. There are only bits and pieces. It would be best to do what I did, go to your local library and check out "Programming Perl" - The Camel Book. I haven't found a complete tutorial anywhere the net, but this is an excellent source.
