But he is in Pondicherry, India which was hit by the tsunami's tidal waves.
That would make it rather harder for him to see the humour, one supposes, regarding tsunamis. Perhaps he
would prefer jokes about blizzards and ice storms. Or
perhaps not; some people see humour as a good coping
mechanism ("laughter is the best medicine"), and other
people see it as offensive and insensitive. I don't
know of any way to reconcile those extremes.
Update: I just realized that I was confused about
which he you meant; it is prasadbabu, the original
poster, who is Hindustani; dbwiz, who got offended,
is from thousands of miles away on the other side
of the planet and has no business being offended,
unless I'm missing something.

Humour is a good coping mechanism for some people (it works for me), but I don't think this is really the place to be posting it.

That's what he *claims*.
He's a scribe and has been a user since June; I
rather doubt he set up the account just to post
this obfuscation. I suppose he could have changed
his location, but the username fits, so I doubt it.
It seems to me that dbwiz is getting his nose
bent out of shape over nothing, or because
prasadbabu doesn't have the same (Western)
sensibilities. It wasn't in *that* bad of taste.
Sure, it's inane, but I don't see anything overtly
offensive about it, certainly nothing to warrant
reaping. It's not like it directly pokes fun at the
suferers or their plight or anything.
