in thread code without newline doesn't wrap

We don't need to fix it. Code wrapping works in Moz just fine. "Auto" code wrapping was designed around soft hyphens. I know of no way to immitate soft hyphens in a browser that doesn't support soft hyphens.

But "auto" code wrapping is not a required feature. If you insist on using a browser that doesn't support soft hyphens, then either stop using the optional feature that depends on soft hyphens or stop complaining when it doesn't work.

If you want progress in "fixing" this, then demonstrate you actually understand this and propose how you'd fix it.

More likely to get PM to change behaviour somehow.

Probably even more likely than to get you to change behavior somehow. ;)
