You were confused by it. Look closer (and not just with your eyes, as there are no visual clues present). It is not case-sensitive. About the only thing that is case-sensitive at PerlMonks is username and password checking on login, and the former will be fixed.

    ok, That's pretty cool. Looking at the source I saw a hidden dash character that translates to ascii character code 173 however the actual character associated with that code is an upside down exclamation point. At first, I thought it must be a language issue but then I woke up. ANSI 173 (soft hyphen). I guess I should have taken the hint when you said look closer. I hope that in the future I will do a little more investigation and read between the lines before I jump to conclusions. Every now and then we all need A Whack on the Side of the Head (by Roger Von Oech) or tye ++. Thanks.
