I have the latest Mac OS X Tiger and the Xcode Tools on my box, installed ghc as described above, did `gcc_select` for gcc 3.3, started `sudo cpan` and did `install Perl6::Pugs`. I have 'follow'-settings in cpans Config.pm but that shouldn't matter. Everything works fine so far. What kind of error-messages do you get?	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Well, now it's installed successfully. Wonder what made the difference. Looking at the list of make tests I'd saved from my first attempt, it looks like there was just one test that failed, thus ruining everything: `Failed Test Stat Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed ---------------------------------------------------------------------- +--------- t/oo/destruction.t 254 65024 6 0 0.00% ?? 83 subtests skipped. That's the same setup I have. Right now I'm running the install under CPANPLUS . . . it's running slowly but so far it looks good.	[reply]
