After a quick search on the web, I didn't found any site that gives statistic on most popular perl modules on CPAN. The CPAN FAQ says that such statistic would be irrelevant because of the many mirrors used worldwide.
I think that it would be nice to know about most popular Modules. It could help to identify most potentially supported modules and ease integration of these modules and our deeply loved language in companys.
Even if the statistic is made only from the main CPAN mirror, that should be interesting.
What is your opinion about this ?
