Monks are people. People have birthdays. Other people like knowing about birthdays so that they can say "Happy Birthday" on time. For instance Time to honour merlyn. Even not-quite birthdays like My Perl Monks B-Day.

Wouldn't it be nice to keep track of who is having a birthday on any given day? (Perhaps we should appeal to jcwren for this...)

PS: Happy Birthday footpad, though I plan on continuing to not be "tapped" for an unexpected donation!
