jeteve has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Wise and Holly monks. I got here a pretty distance matrix between nodes and I'm seeking for a perl mod or a perl-enable library to turn it to an unrooted hierarchical cluster. All I've found till now deals with phylogeny but my concern is more just about data clustering... Thx for any help !

    I think you're trying to do something with bioinformatic data, but your question is too vague to really help. Have you looked at bioperl?
      I had. I founded this class in the doc:
      Bio::Tree::DistanceFactory
      Here: http://bioperl.org/HOWTOs/html/Trees.html
      But wasn't able to find it in the bioperl distribution:
      http://search.cpan.org/~birney/bioperl-1.4/
      Anyone can help ? I'd looooove to use this DistanceFactory Class !!
      Thx !
