I think you're trying to do something with bioinformatic data, but your question is too vague to really help. Have you looked at bioperl?

I had. I founded this class in the doc: Bio::Tree::DistanceFactory Here: http://bioperl.org/HOWTOs/html/Trees.html But wasn't able to find it in the bioperl distribution: http://search.cpan.org/~birney/bioperl-1.4/ Anyone can help ?
