I'd like to be able to edit / alter a consideration i made
E.g. i considered a node today: Is this a perlquestion? move to Discussion i'd say., but i needed to say move to Meditations
Drawback is, that you vote on a current consideration, and not on an edited one....
Still, i'd like to have a solution.
Ideas?

You could just ask the janitors to unconsider the node, then reconsider it with your altered consideration. That way no code changes are required, and no-ones vote is associated with the old consideration.

Or don't use Editor Requests. As noted in What is consideration?:

An older process of submitting an Editor Request is available to any monk; however, simply asking in the chatterbox for help or for someone to consider a node for you might be a better first step.

Which is subtle discouragement from using the old system (especially if you aren't prevented from using consideration) which isn't as easy to work with (and which is mostly ignored except for by one person who might get hit by a bus).

Maybe someone could make the sitedoclet for Editor Requests and then someone could put this gentle discouragement into it and perhaps make both discouragements less gentle and more informative (and someone could add an "s" to What is consideration? since the link to Editor Request just brings up a list of search results).

I also wanted this functionality.. tye was opposed for reasons I fail to remember. Possibly because once its been voted on already, it would be a bad idea to change the text. One could reset the votes I suppose, but that also sounds like a bad idea. So just mention it to an editor, or some such, and things will get sorted, I suspect.

See, you figured out both reasons without even having to remember.
