Congratulations. I thought it appropriate to reply as this is my 500th post :).

I note that you have been wandering the halls about twice as long as I and have garnered a chunk more than twice the XP that I have. That helps keep me at least slightly humble, although comparing ones performance with tlm should keep most people a lot humble!

My experience here is pretty much identical to yours - I'm surprised by how much I've posted, I've had huge help from the other monks (in the CB too I must add), I've helped a few others and made some good (virtual) friends along the way.

I echo your sentiment in thanking those who created PerlMonks and those that maintain the site. This is far and away the best support forum that I know of and I'm pleased to be a contributor and hope that my contribution is positive.
