DBD::DB2 module installation problem

Dear Monks,

Please have a look at my question DBD::DB2 installation Failed. I am struggling with this issue for the past two days.

Help me to trap this culprit...Can any one help.. ?

Did you install the database headers as Tanktalus suggested in Re: DBI::DB2 module installation failed? It looks like that's your problem, judging by the error message ("Can't locate database header file").	[reply]

$50/hr, minimum 3 hours' billing, and ssh-based root access to the box, and I'm sure I could have this licked. Or, you can just try using CPAN to install DBI (again - force if you have to), then try DBD::DB2. For chromatic's edification: if vennirajan is right about the package he has installed (with the letters "ADCL"), it's pretty much the only package that you don't get any choice: you always get the DB2 headers. What is missing is the DBI headers.	[reply]

As noted by others in the earlier thread, you must have the DB2 Application Development Client installed. It is the second item listed under the installation instructions at IBM's site. http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/db2/perl/ Scott	[reply]
