I may be off base here, but I'd guess it isn't Apache related, more likely DB bound or a slow background process.

Marco and Lee, This is about entering one form, and then wait two minutes. Then the next one, and so on. Unbelievable but true. I have no information about the implementation. If I was a decision taker, I would kick it out. Thanks for your comments. I will use WWW:Mechanize, as proposed above. Ton	[reply]
