Actually, I have gathered quite a few links on linguistics on my pad (don't forget to look at other topics, like regex stuff). There's loads more that I haven't categorized yet. Another Monk who also has a quite impressive collection is erix. I know PetaMem is also interested...

Thanks for the links. This is exactly what I was looking for. Supersearch is good but since it doesn't use NLP it's limited. Sort of a 'to search for the thing I'm looking for I need the thing I'm looking for' problem. So human determined links are much more useful.

To get a "version of Lingua::Linkparser that works on a Win box", I think all you need is a generic C compiler on that box so you can compile/install CMU's "Link Grammar Parser" package, then install the CPAN module for it the way you would install any CPAN module on that box.
(Well, then again I'm not a windows user, and maybe it's not as simple as all that, but it might be... especially if you have a decent "unix environment for windows" already in place -- e.g. cygwin or uwin.)
As for links, notes, etc on NLP, if you haven't seen the CORPORA mailing list yet, here it is: http://torvald.aksis.uib.no/corpora/ -- lots of good stuff there. | [reply] |
I actually stumbled across the current version of the code which looks to be set up for VC. I wonder if I can make the two talk? Thanks for the tip/link, I'll add it to the pile.
