To get a "version of Lingua::Linkparser that works on a Win box", I think all you need is a generic C compiler on that box so you can compile/install CMU's "Link Grammar Parser" package, then install the CPAN module for it the way you would install any CPAN module on that box.

(Well, then again I'm not a windows user, and maybe it's not as simple as all that, but it might be... especially if you have a decent "unix environment for windows" already in place -- e.g. cygwin or uwin.)

    I actually stumbled across the current version of the code which looks to be set up for VC. I wonder if I can make the two talk? Thanks for the tip/link, I'll add it to the pile.
