I would avoid re-inventing this wheel. IIS can output an "access log" - this basically is a line in a file every time a user requests a page. There are *loads* of systems online that will parse through those logs, and allow you to cut and dice the data any which way you want - google for "IIS Log Analyser" to see what I mean!
