What do you need the Perl code translated into?

I read the original question the other way round. I think Anonymous Monk wants something translated into Perl from another language ... not that it really matters as we don't know what needs translating anyway :)

Update @Anonymous Monk: Can you show us some code that needs translation or describe the problem the original code is solving?

1. Please put the subject of your post in your Subject;
2. translating it into what? English, I presume. If so, then one would better ask people to "explain" what that code does;
3. this is not a helpdesk, but yes, chances are that someone may be gentle enough and provide the explanation you need. It would be nice to know the approximate size of the code, though. And your level of acquaintance with Perl too, for one to know how detailed to be in his/her explanation.
