Hi monks!
Please tell me this : how can i log into perlmonks with a telnet session to port 80 ? I'm confused about the "action=?" in the source . I could use WWW::Mechanize to login but i would like to know how to do it with telnet .
Thanks

Edit: g0n - moved from SoPW to PMD

it just means it's posting to the current page without any get parameters

you just need to post your login creds and node_id= and op=login just like the form suggests

the idea is that in perl monks, you can login to while viewing a node, without having to go off to another login page, and loose where you were

Nautrally, remembering the cookie is going to be a pain if you're accessing pages via telnet...
