it just means it's posting to the current page without any get parameters

you just need to post your login creds and node_id= and op=login just like the form suggests

the idea is that in perl monks, you can login to while viewing a node, without having to go off to another login page, and loose where you were

Nautrally, remembering the cookie is going to be a pain if you're accessing pages via telnet...
