This is a good idea, IMHO. By disallowing single-word node titles we will eliminate probably half of all considerations for retitling that get executed by Janitors.

As for poetry: "Poem: Sunshine" should be an acceptable solution to single-word poetry titles.

      …eliminate…considerations for retitling …
To strengthen that thought, maybe the (?i:) words "perl" and "help" should be treated as whitespace in the word count.

Too bad that to take an action against damned spammers we should deprive ourselves of the, admittedly rarely occurring, possibility of using a witty single word title when "needed". However... (I'm sure you know better than me, but) do spammers use single word titles? Well, I was about to hit "preview" and then "submit" when I decided that I could try to find an answer myself: so I did a Super Search and it turns out that it's actually so, at least here, in PM. Now that I think of it, I wonder why, since it seems to me that the subjects of most spam mails I receive are rather verbose...

    Even poetry?
      Yes. (Did you try it?)
Did not try (Currently no poems ready). If any section needs to allow single-word titles, its poetry.
