I saw a "PERL 1" ca.us plate and eventually asked Larry about it. He guessed it probably belonged to someone named Perlman. I wanted to get "VOOM" for my commute car because it'd say something appropriate when I come up behind you in the fast lane and something else appropriate after I pass you. ;)
