jck has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear Monks,

I know nothing about servers (hoping to be educated!).

I have been using a simple sendmail function to send emails to my users from our site, and lately the server is sending the following error message:

Insufficient disk space; try again later Insufficient disk space; try +again later returntosender: cannot select queue for rockvill Insuffic +ient disk space; try again later returntosender: cannot select queue +for postmaster queueup: cannot create queue temp file tfl1D1balv02998 +0, uid=1476: No space left on device
what is happening, and how do i fix it?

sorry if this is a stupid question - i don't even know how to approach this problem!

TIA,
janaki

It looks like your mail server is having disc space problems. I find a good way to find out about this type of thing is to Google the error. Try Googling this: sendmail "Insufficient disk space"
