in reply to Preview button for code submission page?

I don't know about a preview button, but I wrote a mammouth tome about DBI in the Code Catacombs last week. I dutifully installed a <READMORE> after the first few exciting paragraphs designed to capture your attention, and then blabbered away for hours.

Imagine my shock and horror when upon submitting I see that the whole post appears in all its gory details.

I can still see in the source the place where the <READMORE> appeared, was recognised and dutifully stripped out, but there's no "Read more" link on the page. So shoot me.

The trick behind the <READMORE> tag is in where it is activated. When you surf to the node that the post is on, you get the entire document. You are "reading" the document, why make you hit a button to see the rest of it?

The <READMORE> tag is a big win for the main page or the section page of some sections. I don't think that all the sections are empowered yet, the main issue was with megaposts that might end up on the front-page. Keep using it, it will pay off sooner or later. =)
