You have an undefined symbol:

undefined symbol: dbd_st_finish at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 229

This could be getting in the way of successfully completing the tests.

There is most likely a version mismatch. Honestly I have been asking other sys admins how to solve this issue since you clearly don't want to use a newer version (sometimes upgrading versions introduces other problems or dependencies). The version of DynaLoader.pm on your system doesn't contain the symbol needed for the installation of the DBD::SQLite. I will provide more information if I find something.	[reply]
