I like watching people playing Perl golf sometimes, but I'm not a player myself. May I direct you to Obfuscated Code? It's not always about golf, or japh, you'd find a bunch of techniques that "abuse" the syntax. Don't forget to open the spoiler. You may also want to check the Perl golf archive. Update (18-05-2007): However, I don't think this is the best way to learn Perl in usable sense (production).

    Yeah. But, now I've learnt some stuff, I don't know what to do with it! Golf just seemed to be the thing on offer, so I went for that. If you have some "challenges", or just something for me to try, I'd be happy to hear them too.
