state() variables gets my vote

I would have voted for state variables, but they seem to have been dropped. They're mentioned in perl594delta but not in perl595delta, not even to say they've been removed.

Consider this to be a spoilt ballot paper in protest

    Given that perl595delta explicitly states

    This document describes differences between the 5.9.4 and the 5.9.5 development releases. See perl590delta, perl591delta, perl592delta, perl593delta and perl594delta for the differences between 5.8.0 and 5.9.4.

    I would guess they're still there.
