Anyone check if this is legit? A quick Google search suggests it is but the blog entries are all older (even if you drill down through Xanga to the LiveJournal ones). Still, this sounds legit and it's a bit disapointing to see this post almost even on up and down votes (+7-6 last I checked). Out of all of the things that can be done with Perl writing a romantic poem for a significant other seems like one of the most important.
I used AIM Express to contact her and offered what help I could. She is writing poems in several different real world languages (like Spanish) and thought Perl would be a great addition since he is a programmer. I am guessing she stumbled across other poems written in Perl. BTW, it's the same boyfriend mentioned in her older blogs. I hope he appreciates how lucky he is! :-)
