pdftk issue

kutty1 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi As per our requirement, all the individual PDF files to be merged into a single PDF. We tried option in PERL program to merge the PDF files. In PERL, there is an exe "pdftk.exe" available to merge all the PDF files into a single PDF. The pdftk.exe works fine, but the bookmarks and thumbnails are deleted in this option and we have to recreate the bookmarks and thumbnails Could you please suggest a better way on doing this process? Try using Javascript "Combining PDF Documents" http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/acrobat/sdk/AcroJSGuide.pdf/ Else try using Acrobat 6 or 7 Select File > Create PDF > From Multiple Files within Acrobat 6 or 7 While merging if u get some extra bookmark remove using javascript	[reply]

Hi Praveen, Thanks for your response. We have solved this problem using sendkeys. Now the bookmarks and thumbnails were present in the pdf. Regards, Subbu	[reply]
