Yes, I'm using activeperl and I seem to have installed the DBD ok as indicated by the ppm outputs (with last line stating '8 files installed').
I now see DBD-ODBC reflected in my PPM GUI as well as the actual files residing in the said directory. Thank you both again for your help and research. Bow
