in reply to Leftover votes: wild suggestion / feature request(s)

I'm piling on this discussion a couple weeks too late, but..

1) The most likely use of a one day rollover would be a double vote on Monday.
2) If I'm too tired to vote, I'm probably too tired to give them away.
3) I see too many possible Heathers moments with a vote transfer.

    I'm piling on this discussion a couple weeks too late, but..

    $couple++;

    As one with not-many votes I am in favour.

    because...

    What time zone does the Vote Fairy work in?? There have been a few nights now where I have settled in to a bit of monastic wondering before bed time and suddenly I have no votes left! Here I am at 23:09 British (supposedly) Summer Time and suddenly my (0++)(0--) is gone!?

    premature update: oh... just looked and saw Vote fairy runs away to be with the Tooth Fairy:

    The vote fairy is a cron job that runs at approximately 2:15AM EST every day.

    ... which is I suppose 21:15 UK(?) But I'm sure I was still vote-worthy at that time...

    Midnight is my most productive time! Why am I suddenly voiceless?

    (Won't be able to reply now, have to leave "that computer" and retire... ;-)

    This signature will be ready by Christmas

      Is that outdated? I could have sworn (which I will not while in the Monastery, mind you) that it was 12:25AM EST. At least that is what I have noticed :\

      I'm so adjective, I verb nouns!
