I got the wrong end of the stick. I thought the point of the original post was having the same feeling as Dirk Gently in "The Long Dark Teat-time of the Soul", where his horoscope (written by The Great Zaganza) is always written to wind him up because the horoscope writer is an old friend. (Quoted here.)

If you haven't read them before, the two Dirk Gently books (Douglas Adams) are certifiably funny and worth a read if you ever encounter them. (More so than my original comment, and better spelt too.)

    You know ... looking back over my post -- i fail to see where i stated or implied that any of this had anything to do with me other than it was something i observed and felt was neat enough to share.
