in reply to Flash Media Server - Kamaitachi

It wasn't very robust here. I have a slow dsl connection and and NTSC camera on linux using VL2. When I started up I saw just a bar static across the top of the video. I closed the tab the flash was running in, and soon my firefox became unresponsive with screen smearing.... I had to manually kill all firefox related pids, and restart.

I'm using Firefox-3.0.5 and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124

    Thanks for trying it out.

I think it might require the new FlashPlayer 10 to work properly. However, I have noticed something similar on my own computer - running Ubuntu, but figured it was just that the FlashPlayer for Linux was giving me a hard time.

    Any more testers?
I just put in Flash10, and get theFlash Player showing "NetConnection.Connect.Failed" and is unresponsive.....is the server down?

        Hi,

First I just want to say Thanks! for giving it another shot. There appears to be some kind of strange corner-case that was causing a fatal error, blah blah blah. Yes - the server had died at some point, but I think it's fixed for now.

If you could spare another minute, please go there again and test it out. http://www.devstack.com/kamaitachi-test/
