SlackBladder has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello, I am looking into the possibility of writing a simple (hopefully) program in perl that will give me the ability to sync information between Thunderbird and my Windows Mobile based smart phone. I know there are a couple of tools pre-built out there already (Finchsync and BirdieSync), however, I thought it would be an interesting project writing my own. Does anyone else know if this can even be done with perl ?

Thanks in advance,

Slacky

checkout this forum Reading pim.vol / EDB-File on a PC, somebody already made a tool in Perl for reading appointments/calendar/tasks from a Windows Mobile device.

remember to make backups before anything else!
