    TFT bellaire, it'll probably suffice, tho' I was rather hoping for a version of the "Camel book"-a-like icon...

      Note that the Camel is an O'Reilly trademark. It looks like PerlMonks has permission to use it (judging by favicon). That means you can use it to link to PerlMonks, but it shouldn't be used to link to arbitrary Perl sites.
        That's exactly similar to the usage Ts & Cs for the perl.org icon (if it's still available - the only instance of it I can find now is on the CPAST pages).

        Such usage is, coincidentally, exactly what I'd like.

        BTW, I have found a copy of the icon similar to that used on the browser tag(s) here - but it doesn't scale too well.
