Ambiguous antecedent detected on line 2: people are abandoning use.perl, perl, or perlmonks? UPDATE: Yes, seriously. I don't follow use.perl at all. I never really liked the site. Further, you could have meant perlmonks because stackoverflow continues to get more popular every day. You could have meant perl for all I know because people get really down on perl, not sure why.

Whatever. The test platform thing is very exciting.

jettero, Seriously? If there is any ambiguity let me be clear - people are picking up their blogs and relocating away from use.perl in mass droves. I really didn't want that to be the point of this thread and I only mentioned it because I anticipated the "this isn't news" with a pointer to use.perl reply. Sorry I wasn't more clear. Frankly, stackoverflow is great for everything NOT perl. It can't remotely compare to the "editorial quality" of Perlmonks, and you can't even go trolling for long threads, for it isn't even threaded. However it sure makes Perlmonks interface feel antiquated. Ah, Web 2.0 glitters...	[reply]

++ You are 100% accurate here. I keep trying stack overflow for all it's coolness, ajaxy goodness, badges, etc. It makes me wish perlmonks had a little more modern interface stuff, but in the end I just come back here. The site content is much better and so is the culture. On the other hand, you don't get brian d. foy editing every single page here. -Paul	[reply]
