Then don't do that. The quote still needs to be at the end of the arg.

Wrong: "C:\Documents and Settings\my.name\My Documents\My Company\QA\"TestingWorksheet_07232009.xlsx
Right: "C:\Documents and Settings\my.name\My Documents\My Company\QA\TestingWorksheet_07232009.xlsx"

Are you saying you don't know how to build the latter string? By the way, why didn't use the multi-arg system call I suggested?

If I quote it in such a way ("") then it will not recognize spaces within dir names... we've already been down that path.	[reply]

You keep talking about the quotes in the source. I'm talking about the string your code needs to build/produce/generate. I'm leaving it to you to figure how to do so.	[reply]
