No, the return value from Mock::Basic->update() is numified (if it had a 0+ overload, it gets called). CSJewell, I just don't want to log in atm.

      Probably he/she/it just misplaced a bracket, typing [CSJewell, I just don't ...] in place of [CSJewell], I just don't ....
        Closest I can seem to come is Re^2: correct gmail module?, but that doesn't really address the issue of the OP. Am I missing something?

    unary-plus does NOT numify. 0+ does not get called.
