in reply to XML::Pastor - seeking help
Welcome to PerlMonks!
Part of the philosophy here at Perl Monks is the idea of creating a resource that people other than the original questioner can learn from. Many monks are willing to forgo compensation for their expertise because of the joy they get in providing an answer that becomes part of a permanent resource. That joy isn't going to happen with a private one on one chat. Some monks on principle will refuse such a request. Others will politely tell you they have a billing rate.
I quite understand not wanting to share sensitive data on line. If privacy is an issue, substitute nonsense words or letters or numbers for the real element names and data. If size is an issue, try to shrink removing as much as you can from it until you have a skeleton set of schema and data that still demonstrates the difficulties you are having. The act of doing that might well shed some light on the difficulties your are having. You may even be able to answer your own question. But if not, you are more likely to get help if you post a stripped down version of the issues that we can all discuss, rather than asking for private help.
Best, beth
