Heya vroom!

1st off, I'd like to praise you on the votes. GREAT idea! (as I said before, SWEEET!).

To extend the community gathering and stimulate people to turn to perlmonks for help, wouldn't it be great if you could have a message/paging system where you could directly put ideas in a monk's message box?

I was thinking of something reasonably extensive in the sense that messages could be forwarded to-and-from a node to a perticular user (the author probably) so that certain discussions could be made private and public.

If you need help, I can right up the base and you guys could modify it later to whatever would work (or take away my XP's if you hate it) :oP

Cheers!

EveryDevel's way ahead of you. (bones and I had a conversation about this at least six months ago.)

The Chatterbox supports IRC-style private messages. If I send "/msg BBQ This is a private message.", it'll display in your Chatterbox nodelet until you click the little checkbox and hit Talk.

(Some of us have been notifying each other of typos or really good writeups with it.)

You don't have access to that node. Tough beans.
      Awwww... Shucks!
