in reply to add perlmonks markup to link to cpan modules

It is extremely useful, which is why it was implemented long ago :-). See What shortcuts can I use for linking to other information?, you're looking for [cpan://CGI] for example
Perl 6 - links to (nearly) everything that is Perl 6.

Since he asked about linking to a module, he's looking for [mod://CGI]. [cpan://CGI] does a search for CGI.
      I think i found a bug. [mod://strict#SYNOPSIS] (live test SYNOPSIS of strict) generates strict#SYNOPSIS (  <a href="http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?strict%23SYNOPSIS">strict#SYNOPSIS</a> ) which isn't the same as strict#SYNOPSIS (<a href="http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?strict#SYNOPSIS">strict#SYNOPSIS</a>)

      Thanks
