But for good measure, one more time can't hurt(can it?). Why is Perl better? Quite simply because you can do SO much more with it. PHP was made to handle some of the tasks CGI could do, but without the overhead of making a process on the server. However, Perl allows for much more flexibility and power in design; also, if programmed efficiently, the overhead is minimum. Not to mention that certain features(mod_perl,fast cgi, for instance) make that overhead dissapear. | [reply] |

Not seeing how it helps and saying it hurts is a completely different thing. Forgive me for trying to offer some thoughts in answer to a question, I forgot that if something has already been answered it mustn't be discussed again. . . (who was Newton anyway when he said something about gravity; they had already decided there was none! and he offered his opinion, cursed wretch!).
