    Where does he say he thinks there were two posts? He only says that the nodereaper wouldn't let him create a second post because it would be a duplicate. He's just stating what the error message was when he tried to resubmit his post.

      If you look at the message you get when you try to submit a duplicate post, nowhere does it refer to NodeReaper at all.

      NodeReaper reaps. In order for a node to get reaped, it has to exist. The invocation of NodeReaper in the explanation implies that a node got reaped.

      (Yes, I know NodeReaper also swallows naughty chatters. That's unrelated.

      What is the sound of Windows? Is it not the sound of a wall upon which people have smashed their heads... all the way through?

        I thought there was some code in place to try and catch duplicates now? Or maybe I'm thinking of a different forum. The way it's written makes it sound like the second post never made it into the system.
